I think your ideas are lofty, but we’re game. Also, the idea about moving the talent show to fall is a GREAT idea. It was so fun, but there was entirely too much going on at that time. Are the rest of the kids’ talent show routines on the internet, or just Cody’s?
I did not request permission from parents to upload video of their students. If parents of members of an act want to send me permission I’ll see what I can do. Cody’s mom put his on YouTube I just found the link.
Choir auditions for 3rd graders – can you let me know when you will be doing these at Gifford these year? My daughter tried out last year and was not accepted in and is very much looking forward to joining this year. She was at a CYTChicago camp and is in Voice 1 starting this fall. Please let me know.
All students in grades 1-4 were auditioned in May 2010. The only students we are auditioning Fall 2010 are students that were not Gifford students last spring. Hope that helps. If you want to comment your student’s name and present grade using only 1st two initials of last name, I can look and make sure if they passed or not. Someone mentioned there were a few kids missing from the blog version of the roster.

I think we will go with whatever makes the most sense with regard to Case/Gifford for the concerts. $1 isn’t unreasonable.
We certainly enjoyed the kid’s talent show…love to see the parents/staff strut their stuff too!
